Faculty-led summer courses abroad offer students the best of both worlds: time abroad without sacrificing their commitments to on-campus life! Students with more restrictive academic schedules or a desire to make the most of their summers as they’re earning their degrees are great candidates for summer study abroad programs. Explore new cultures, travel the world with a U of I faculty member and other U of I students, learn a new language, and becoming a part of the global community!
Instead of learning French in the Foreign Language Building basement Mon-Fri, go to France. Spend a few weeks in Jordan understanding immigration, and what it means to be a refugee.
